Volunteer, make things happen, earn rewards

Volunteer to help, become a VIP member

Our successful Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) Points has been running since 2023 to incentive volunteers and provide tangible rewards for volunteering activity.

By volunteering, you become a VIP member and earn VIP points. You can use these points to pay for a wide range of things related to the club. New for 2025 is redemption against purchases made at Mud Dock Cycleworks. There’s a full list included in the scheme rules (Section 4) here, but if you think of something else you think should be included just let a committee member know.

Your points will accumulate over the year as you complete your volunteering activities, and you can use them right up to the end of the following year. For example, if you choose to marshal for the Open 50 time trial in July 2024, your points are usable until the end of 2025. Your points are allocated to you as soon as the event or activity has happened.

You can view your points and any other VIP member’s points in the record sheet here.

In 2025 the club hopes to organise the following volunteer-run events. You can put yourself forward to help through the contact information shown against each. Dates will be updated from 2024 once known:
